i can find it on the internet. it never makes one of the top five stories of yahoo. i don't think that it is a big deal. on a scale of 1 to 10, i consider it a mere 2. am i correct? i would like to have a real explanation and not just a website to go to. what causes it and what can we do to get rid of it? do we need to get rid of it. please don't make up an answer.

red tide is caused by toxins in the water. it is not global warming. it does kill the fish and sea life. i wouldn't worry about it. it is seasonal. scientists are working on ways to lower the amount of red tide that happens each year. don't worry about it.

To get rid of red tide..you have to eradicate a certain sea weed (RED) that is causing it. You see, red tide happens when there is high tide. Then that is the time these red weeds (actually i forgot the what they call it dia..) will rise from the depths of the sea and they are poisonous when consumed by sea creatures like fishes/clams.I will let you know what they call that weed but the thought is the same.
