Why not pick on Christianity? Look to who the Christians have in the media lately. Look at how the Christians who get press are against sex education, birth control, vaccines for cervical cancer, and other things that would reduce the amount of suffering in this world. I'm not saying that Christians deserve to be slammed, but the ones who keep getting all the press really could use a good blast of reality. Be it Madonna who gives it to them or some other celebrity.

Probably because Madonna Ciccone has never been a moslem, so she can't pick on a religion she has no personal knowledge of. Madonna was/is a christian catholic for decades so any opinions she has on it would have at least some basis.

Now, having said that, why do we Christians pick on Moslems, Kaballah. Hindus, Buddhists etc, given we probably know next to nothing about them? And since most of us are Christians and Jews since birth, why are we so afraid to pick on our own religion's inconsistencies--which we do know about well?

Because she's a self-serving fool. She does and says things that will garner her media attention, that's all. In pop music, you have to always be in the public eye or you are soon forgotten.

Christianity is what she knows - she was a Catholic once u know, probably got fed the facts of the religion, and now chooses to believe otherwise. it is one persons opinion - y do u care so much - did her opinion make u question ur faith?? No people are not continuously figuring out on on Christianity, me choose for Islam, as quickly as I see that Islam take care of lady, via asking her to placed on veil, it makes me comprehend that that's the religion of peace of path Christian is a good faith, yet in my view, it incorporate blunders like keeping apart God into 3 products

Positive or not, she tries to use that which is familar to her target audience to evoke emotion, create controversy, and continue her "who gives a $h!t?" mystique... a group of tactic which has kept her famous for 22 years.
