Perhaps you were placed in their path to make their day and not the other way around.
But what an honor for you to have brought happiness to that person.

Yes many times. Not sure about them dying but I've never seen them again. Sometimes it would be a brief friendship or maybe just a one second encounter but I've felt connections with certain people that seem out of the ordinary. Something clicks; a strange familiarity. One "stranger" helped me when I was lost and just her smile and eyes and helpful manner has stuck with me to this day. Such warmth and openness when no one else would help.
I always wonder if maybe their life purpose was to shine their light on me that particular moment--it is very possible. I know that being open to such encounters has changed me and I've grown from them. This makes life very rich and gives it some depth. I only hope that there are times I've done the same for others when meeting me!
Great question.

Oh yes, i've felt this on some occassions.
1. To "The Bus Guy" trapped on an 8 hour bus journey who helped turn eachothers lives around. Never to be seen since then 8 years ago.
2. To James, The best friend i could have had, me a young man starting life. Him an old man ending it. I held him for his death and saw him through his last few months. I cannot express.
3. To Moira, that one night by the open fire with intimacy without sex igniting one another's souls, awakening untapped greatness.
Never to see her again.
.
Their purpose in my life was to change me-that they did. I'm ashamed i cant remember the 1st guys name.

YES I have a friend that I trust with my life and feelings. We use to talk frequently, now he has a mate, we are still great friends just don't see eachother like we use to, that doesn't mean your friendship is any less, probably stronger because you can still be friends. If this person made or makes you happy, God Bless

"The Rain, the Park, and Other Things," known to many as "The Flower Girl."

I believe so. I strongly believe in fate and no coincidences. That encounter was meant to be. I've had connections like that (without the death) for only one day. I would have never traded them for the world.

Maybe you should speak to a priest or clergyman about this.
Sounds like a very serious question.
Good luck I hope you find the answer that you need.
