Okay, the situation in Lebanon aside, this is dealing with Americans or dual-citizenship Americans who move there knowing the Middle East, regardless of wherever you stand in the crisis, is a danger zone.

WHY are you complaining when the US government is evacuating youfor your risk with no charge to you and was done in a relatively good time?

Jesus.

they were complaining because in the beginning the state department was charging them. if they are still complaining it's because some people would complain if you hung them with a new rope.

Most of the people who complain are not real americans. They are arabs with american passports. They are always angry with USA. I know, I see them every day here in Cyprus. I work for a company that's involved, at the moment, in the refugee rescue.

They complain and they blame USA and the rest of the world for not saving from Israel. Like they will do anything if we have a war with turks again.

Now they are not being charged. When the US first started to evacuate Americans the plan was to charge them for the service. That's where the complaints came from.

Maybe they are fond of Lebanon and didn't want to leave.
MAYBE THEY ARE STRESSED.
I listen to National Public Radio and from what I have heard a lot of people are stressed.
American, Lebanese, Lebanese-Americans.
Getting caught in crossfire between Hezbollah and Israel could not be considered good times and something to be taken lightly.

I doubt seriously that very many complained. I think the few dummies that did were the ones that made it on TV.
