it's so annoying at lunch we can't even go in all at once it's just 5 of us..and last time they kicked us out- all we wanted were some drinks- The lady got so mad... asking us why we were there we should b in school...don't they want 2 make some money- it's lunch time we wanted were some cheap drinks-we calmly walked in... it wasn't like we were disrupting the store

well, as you said, the lady was paranoid. so are a LOT of other people in the world. maybe she was just drunk.

It only takes 1 rotten apple to spoil the rest. They probably get lots of scumbags there who steal and the wrong kids go there. Just be nice and say, "Ma'am, we're on lunch and just want to buy some sodas." If she continues to be an @sshole, then go to the manager and ask why she works there if she treats customers like that.

When I lived in Indianapolis, I was the assistant manager of a Dollar General store in Brownsburg, IN. We never got robbed, but we heard about stores that did. Invariably, the stores were robbed by black people. I think that's probably why the workers were so afraid.

I work at a dollar store. Don't judge everyone that work at a dollar store just because of that bad experience. I'm very calm and understanding. Maybe you did something or said something that you don't even notice. Check yourself lil momma

That sucks that you've had an experience like that with places where you live. Just remember that it's VERY narrow-minded to assume that EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE who works at "places like the dollar store" is paranoid.

Its because kids steal more than adults, because its sort of a bet to see who cn do it without getting caught. Its not fair, but it is fact, and kids can't be held responsible for their debts, so its not even worth while calling the cops for $2 worth of junk.

Was she one of us (Black) it is to bad if she was, because a sister at Victoria's Secret watched me shop like a hawk when there were others stealing on the otherside. CRAZY
These people are silly just ignore or shoot some intelligence their way, they will hate themselves.

Its probably the staff. I would hope they werent rascist. Otherwise, why would you be in school anyways? Its summer. So if thats the case, then I hate to say it, but they might just be rascist....bastards

may be she has problem of her own and let it out on u. may be she thinks u might disturb other customer because u r kid. let it go. it's not worth thinking about it. but if this happen again ask for manager and tell him or her about this person.
