Brijole - American spelling
Braciole - Italian spelling.
Pronounced brizschole.
Either way, MMMMMMMMMMMM !!
I watched my mom prepare this during my childhood.

This is a thin beef or veal, often hammered flatter and flavored with spices. Then its rolled up much like rolling up a sleeping bag LOL! When done, you tie it with clean kitchen string so it cannot come loose. You submerge it in either spaghetti sauce to cook for 3 hours. Back then, homemade sauce would cook for several hours so they cooked together.
It comes out, you undo string and it is fall apart tender !!

Hope you get to try some.
