Unfortunately, we live in a greedy country full of hummer driving expedition buying suburban driving morons who are too oblivious of the world around them because it can't be seen from the tall windows of their over sized SUV's that I think most people will scoff at the smart cars, and possibly try to run them off the road (as they often do me in my Corolla). Americans are just dumb enough to believe they can wish away global warming, and by the time the wake up and see what is happening (or die in roll over accidents in their dangerous SUV's), it will probably be too late and all their children the are driving to soccer practice in these environmental polluters will not have a decent planet on which to live.

Huh?

It remains to be seen if it will do well. Our cities could use a little commuter such as this. It's easy to park, fuel is sipped, and it's fun to drive. Especially in cities with poor public transportation systems, I can see it doing well.

no, our cities just are not desigend for a car like that, and not living in the city means to much of a commute.

HIghly unlikely, especially considering that it didn't fare particularly well in Europe.
