What? Ok, setting up trade routes is a lot different from leaving a land entirely. The fact is, they were in large part kicked out through successive invasions. The Romans destroyed the Temple and eventually the Arabs conquered the region. They didn't leave the Middle East, they were just conquered, and many of them fled to avoid death, not to set up trade routes.

Where exactly does the Torah forbid them setting up a Jewish government? If you actually read the Torah, you will see that even in the Torah, God himself set up a Jewish government, first through the Judges, then with the kings. Don't pretend to be well-versed in something when you don't know anything.

Well, God did permit them to have a king and government when they insisted they wanted to be like other nations.
Anyway, they have been established there for many decades now, and most of the Arabs in Israel are okay with that, but a significant group of fanatics won't accept that. Have you noticed that the other Arab or Muslim nations don't help the Palestinians in any significant way except to encourage terrorism? Actually the Israel has helped the Palestinians more than they have, which is why so many Arabs are integrated into Israeli society.

Uh, the Jews were kicked out of their lands by the Roman Empire and then subjegated by every European and Arabic power from then until at least World War II. Where are you getting your information? It's called the diaspora. Also, what the hell are you talking about? The Jewish people had a direct theocracy for centuries.

Come on, what do you know of the Torah, as much as me, I would say.

The Jews were run out of there as well, 6mill killed. They got sick of being hunted as dogs. This land call Israel was as good as any as a last stand.

They have kick butt for years.
If you think God is not on their side, you do not know history of Israel.

Same reason that the Arabs think it belongs to them. Is there a rule somewhere that says just because you leave you can't go back ?
