I have a 2.8 P4 with HT. I have a coolant system. During regular use (internet, word processing, etc...), the temperature stays between 59 - 70 (it use to be 40 - 50).... But when I play games, it climbs to 85 degrees Celcius... Is that normal for a P4? If no, what is the normal temp for it?

Oh also, when I first installed the cooling system, I mixed water with some coolant, everytime I need to refill the container, I just added water... Done that like 6 times already (once every 4 months).... Should I be mixing the water with something else? What is that something else?

Did you put thermal paste between the water block and the processor before screwing it on. If not, then you need to put thermal paste on the processor and then put the water block back on it. If you are using the paste included with the water cooling unit (or if you failed to apply it at all), get yourself some rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth, dampen the cloth and clean the cpu and water block with it, making sure to clean of any thermal grease/paste left on it. Then apply some new thermal paste according to directions, I like using Artic Silver. And no, those temperatures are not normal, especially if you are using water cooling.

That sounds like the normal running temp of P4.

yes it take more power to run a game... so temp of the comp go's up with it... dont worry about it... but make sure that you put something on it that keeps the temp down, and make sure it is geting enoigh air
