I go to one of the UC schools and I(specifically) have to pass Spanish in order to graduate. I've waited until my senior year and I just need some help learning it. Got any tips?

What has helped me learn spanish(I'm going on to my 3rd year soon) is learning small bits at a time and thinking up catchy sayings for things you cannot remember. For example: My spanish teacher last year gave us a good thing to remember commands& negative tú commands.

"Go Yo, Drop O, Add opp" for uds. and ud. commands.

Example: Tomar

Go Yo- Tomo
Drop O- Tom
Add Opp.- Tome(Ud. Command)

¡Tómelo!
(Take it!)

Negative Tú commands

"Go Yo, Drop O, Add Opp. Plus S"

Tomar

Tomo
Tom
Tome
Tomes

¡No lo tomes!

(Don't take it!)

Stuff like that.

So my advice to you is for Ud. & Uds. Commands
"Go Yo, Drop O, Add Opp.(Add n for Uds.)"

Negative Tú commands

"Go Yo, Drop O, Add opp. plus s"

If I was wrong on anything, please correct me!!

Good luck.

MI FAVORITA SUBJECTO ES ENGLISH PORQUE ES INTERSANTE

Erm, to my knowledge, I believe it would be mi subjecto(I cannot remember if that is correct) favorita es ingles porque es interesante. I would say it this way

Mi clase favorita es las ciencias porque la clase es muy interesante

You have the favorita before the subject, it's the opposite, in English we put it BEFORE the noun, but in spanish it's usually after the noun.

Another one, which is really wrong

ME GUSTO BLANCO MUCHACHOS

It's wrong. gusto is gustan becuase muchachos is plural. Also, it would be blancos not blanco. and finally switch your muchachos with blancos.

Here's an example similar.

Me gustan los camisetas azules.
(I like the blue T-shirts)

You need to brush up on spanish.

If I'm wrong, correct me.

You'll be surprised by how much you pick up simply by watching Spanish-TV programming. Try to get into as many situations where your knowledge of the language can help. The easiest way to pick up a language is by practicing speaking. Books help mainly with grammar, which is a must, but they don't really focus on helping you pronounce and stuff. You'll need to study, but practicing Spanish helps a lot.

Are you REALLY studying, or just skimping by on average grades? Get down into those books and study, girl! I hope everything works out for you. Spanish was one of my fav subjects.

You should get some index cards that are white and multi-colored; for when you have to memorize what the words mean, and then have silver rings (which can be found at staples) and you'll flip threw them like flashcards.
