Right now I'm reading The Nasty Bits by Anthony Bourdain. Its pretty entertaining. Also, anything by Kurt Vonegut is excellent. Slapstick and Slaughter House Five are my favorites.

it depends on what you like. if you want good horror or mystery books read the shining by stephen king. If you want good fantasy read harry potter or eragon(then eldest).
