The fact that you have even asked this question implies some hesitation to talk with your parents, in which case there is an underlying reason for that. Perhaps things have gone too far, or you did, or somewhere mom & dad may not be too pleased about... regardless of why, you should tell your parents, they're gonna find out sooner or later anyways. However if there are issues at home there are others you can talk to as well. School counselor, if you're religious there are usually folks you can talk to at your place of worship. an extended family member like an aunt or an uncle, grandparents or even an older cousin..... older brother or sister, etc. Of course you can always go talk to the police, but unless you have a very good reason why they shouldn't, they're gonna call mom or dad or both pretty quick. Good luck & don't put it off...... too late can happen too quick!

I would tell my parents because you may be mistaken and it is better to have a second opinion or even resolve the issue outside of the law. Involving any state or government officials or lawyers should be the last thing, excluding major issues such as Rape, murder, molestation, etc. But yes, tell your parents, explain the situation... you may be seeing something as harassment that isn't. I don't mean to be rude, but lots of chicks out there think that if a guy is flirting with them and they don't like it it should be harassment, which is just a load in my book.

ABSOLUTELY! tell your parents, and they can help control the problem. have your parents contact the police with you, so there is no way the police can think you are exaggerating. if the harasser is at your school, your parents can talk to the principal and get the freak under control. do not tolerate this! good luck.

You definitely want to let your parents know if you are in any kind of possible danger! They can offer you support and if necessary, drop you off to school and pick you up. They can also accompany you if you do need to go to the police!

Hell yeah go to your parents. Tell them the details and they will decide if you're worrying about nothing but if you are in true danger your parents will take you to the police but if your dad is anything like me he will take you in his car along with a baseball bat and tell you to point the moron out.

You should tell your parents first, then you can go to the police as a family. It will make things easier to deal with. Good luck to you.

I am an attorney who has often dealt with such issues.
You are likely to need a restraining order to protect your security.
Telling your parents is really important. Doing so makes them better prepared to help you in the future.
Feel free to contact me, if you wish.

Yes, you should and see if you can get some proof somehow. This will back up your story and get the ball on the rolling fast. The sooner the better and before things get worse.

Of Course! First of all, they may know some ways to handle it that you haven't thought of, and Second, the police will listen to them before they will listen to you. No offense, that's just the way it is.
