San Diego is okay but the rent is out of this world. For a 1 bdroom apartment you would probably pay $1100 a month and that`s not counting your utilities. The cost is to high. Thats why I moved from Hemet, Ca. to Oregon. Like any city in Ca. it`s just too crowded and I like country. I bought my house 10 years ago in Ca. for 56,000 and sold it for $450.000. I still have family and friends that I visit there.

I live in Mexicali which is 2 hrs from San Diego and I like to go there once in a while. I like San Diego weather and some attractions like sea world, balboa park and of course the shopping malls also.

I think is a nice city but i have notice also that there are a lot of homeless people specially on downtown.

I'm from Detroit and moved to San Diego. All you Californians are seriously nuts but San Diego is still the place to be. Venture out into the world and come back to SD. Then you can form your own opinion. : )

San Diego is my favorite place! I live about 4 hours north-ish of there (towards Bakersfield) and it is always nice to get out of this pit and visit your lovely town. It's just wayyyyyy too expensive to spend too much time in!

I thought it was the bomb. I've been back twice since first going to visit friends. I gotta say though, I always end up hanging with east coast kids and other transplants. It seems like nobody is really from there. Or maybe the people that are from there just won't talk to me. I could see having a different perspective as a local though

I love it, but would never live there. I'm from Northern CA and when I go to SD, it's a vacation. I do not feel that I would appreciate it as much if I lived there, you know?
