First, change the mixed number to an improper fraction:
20 5/6 = 125/6 [ because (6 * 20) + 5) = 125 ]
Then take the result and divide by 100 to turn the percent into a regular number:
(125/6) / 100 = (125/6) * (1/100) = 125/600
And reduce:
(5*25)/ (24 * 25) = 5/24

First convert 20 5/6% to an improper fraction. Multiply the denominator (6) by the whole number (20) then add the numerator (5). Then use the denominator 6.
6 * 20 + 5
120 + 5
125 >> new numerator
125/6 >> improper fraction
Then divide the improper fraction by 100.
125/6 ÷ 100
To do that get the reciprocal of 100 (100 = 100/1). Then multiply with the improper fraction.
125/6 * 1/100 = 125/600
Now find the GCF of 125 & 600, which is 25.
Divide both the numerator and denominator by 25.
125 ÷ 25 5
------------ = ---
600 ÷ 25 24
I hope this helps you.

A percent is a number divided by 100.
20% is 20/100
and 5/6% is 5/6 divided by 100
5
--------- = 5/600
6 * 100
So, you have 20/100 + 5/600
You can't add these together because the bottom number isn't the same so:
20 * 6 = 120
------------------ = 120/600
100 * 6 = 600
now:
120/600 + 5/600 = 125/600
You can divide the top and bottom both by 25 to simplify it
125/25 = 5
--------------- = 5/24
600/25 = 24
and that's your answer 5/24

205/6% = 125/6% = 125/6 x 1/100 = 125/600 = 0.208
If you want to convert a percent to a fraction just divide the number by 100.

20 5/6 is a mixed number. Algebraically it is also equal to
( 20 + 5/6 )
You also need to be able to convert a percentage into a simple number. For example 2% is 2/100. % is /100
So your expression in the original question becomes
( 20 + 5/6) / 100
We simplify the above to get:
((120+5)/6) /100
which can be rewritten as
125/600
Now we can write out the top and bottom in factors to look for common ones to cancel out. The expression then becomes:
(5*5*5)/(5*4*3*5*2)
= 5/ 24

Well first u need to know that percent(%) mean divided by 100.
20 5/6 %
1)Multiply 6 with 20
2)Add the answer with 5
20*6=120
now add 5 with it
120+5=125
so its becomes now
125/6 %
since there is percent "%". divided it with hundred
==>125/6 (1/100)
===>125/600 (Divide 125/25, 600/25)
====>5/24
