Definitly Thoroughbreds. They are smart, gorgeous, fast, valuable, and awesome Jumpers. I dont like arabs either. I like some of them, but a lot of arabs are airheads. Thoroughbreds are awesome too because they are so sensitive, that the slightest touch can go a long way. I have a Thoroughbred named Mr.Mabee, and i love him to death!

I like Arabians, but they are very high strung the same way thoroughbreds are, which I also like. I mostly just like these breeds because I personally think they are the best looking. For a good all around riding and working horse: Quarter Horse.

growing up i had both. I had a throughbred named Broken thread and my Arabian was Aquaibob Patches. They both had a little spunk in them. My Thoroughbred use to be a race horse but didn't make it on the tracks so they retired him and little did we know he was there in the first place because he looked so ran down until i got him into shape with my trainers. Got a little wild and crazy and well I had to get rid of him. Alone came Patches and well since i had so much trouble with the first horse I got scared with every little thing the horse did and I quit riding. Both horses are amazing and graceful to the stride and If i could go back to my childhood I wouldn't do it any different with either horse. I would have trusted in myself alot more and not gave up

I love the look of the Fresians. If I could afford one that would be my horse of choice. I'm not a big fan of the arabians either. My uncle has a thoroughbred and he is a cool horse. I love my Morgan/Percheron cross though.

Personally I love arabs because you really have to work with them. They make you really think about what your doing and the effect you will have on them. They are extremely smart horses, so the main challenge is "staying one step ahead". They are also very expressive and affectionate, they like to be the centre of attention, not to mention their fantastic movement. They are definately a breed that makes me go "wow".

They are also excellent endurance, jumping, dressage, western and hacking horses. They are built tough, can handle different extremes in temperature, can go all day, usually have quite tough feet and good bone, they can work well into their later years, are very responsive, and like I said-intelligent. They love to work and play, and love just hanging around with you. They are definately people loving horses.

I'm writing all this and I don't even have one!! I have a thoroughbred too, which I do pleasure hacking on, and I think she's great. She's perfect for me- inquisitive, but not too challenging, smart but docile, loves her food and her scratches, and has a great time following my daughter around.

I love warmbloods like Holsteiners (Used to own one), Hanoverians (Have one!), Trakheners (Used to own one!), Dutch warmbloods, ect. Most horses imported from Europe and Germany are good...they breed horses better then Americans do lol.
Warmbloods are such great, athletic jumpers and dressage horses and they are so poweful and muscular looking. You just can't beat the grace and supple power that warmbloods have to offer.
I owned a Thoroughbred when I first started riding and I loved him to death but I'm addicted to the warmbloods now so there's no going back lol

I absolutely love Clydesdales and Fresians. I like the big strong horses with feathering around the hooves and on the back of the legs. I don't really like arabians, but I think a lot of people do because they are beautiful looking horses. I think they have smooth gaits too, not quite sure.

I like the quarter horse they are very level headed and easy keepers. I also own an arabian he is more flighty and it takes some lounging to get his mind on the game but after that he is an excellent riding horse who can get me where i want to go fast. I can see the endurance in him. My quarter horse mare is gentle and not to much bothers her, I think its a personal thing on what type horse you like and their are many opinions which is better. I think a good breed of a horse is one that wont kill you or itself every time you ride.

I own 2 Arabians. I love them for their personality. They are quick to learn. I can have a two year old Arabian for a day and ride it the next. They also go anyway you want them too.

I don't like arabians either, they have like no purpose at all. I don't much like thoroughbreds either though. I like Quarter Horses.
