Also, when i tried putting a video that i uploaded from my camera onto it, it says that the "iPod cannot hold video files" or something like that. Why is this? Its a video iPo so it should be able to. The picutres wont go on eitehr. How do i a) make it so i can unplug my iPod b) get those videos and picutess on there?

a) you cannot listen or view pictures on your iPod if it is connected to your computer. The trick is, from your iPod icon in the playlist section, there should be a little "eject" sign. Click this which will "eject" your iPod but will still be charging it. You should be able to view pictures and listen to songs now while the iPod is connected.

b)iPod does not support the video format of digi cams. What you have to do is copy the video into the "Videos" folder. (it still will not play on the iPod at this stage)
Click on the video to highlight it then go to the File Menu, select "Convert selection for iPod". That should do it. Good luck. Let me know how it goes
