2000 harley 883 i think im done the the dunlop... ive been running d401f 90x90x19
i ride ever day unless rainning in las vegas burns like 4 or 5 tanks aweek... anyways the last 3 tire have now pass their limit the tread has plenty left but uneven ware does them in the same way i always run about the limit with air by a pound or two when check hot 35lbs or around that for the last tire and with same results . going for differant tire what the fav?

uneven tire wear can come from many sources. have you had the fork oil checked? it should be even on both. maybe put progressive springs in front forks.
tire brand usually won't matter, however i tend to stick with dunlop as they (d401) generally give better mileage. it is what comes on stock from the factory for a reason. if you try a different brand, make sure the tread pattern and ply makeup are compatible.

I think you need to check your manual for the air pressure again. Also how hot is it? That will cause uneven tire wear. Most of the time its not the brand its the customer not paying attention until something seems wrong. I'm not cutting you down it happens to everyone.

I like the Avon venom x. I go along with mycle, theres something causing it, fork oil needs changed, tires need balanced or wheel needs to be trued would be the first things I'd look at

I keep going back to the dunlop. Metzlers are fun but quick to replace.

I like Metzeler ME880 tire...good traction..long lasting.

metzler all they make are motorcycle tires,or yokahoma.
