how do they choose who is in the king of the ring? and its odd therer was no king of the ring in 2003 04 or 05

General Manager chooses the "superstars" to participate.

As a opening contest to The King of The Ring, Mark Henry tried to attack Lashley. When Lashey pulled down the ropes, Mark Henry tried to attack, he fell over the ropes. His head hit the announcer table and fainted that caused Lashley to pick up the win and advance to Semi-Finals of the King of the Ring Contest.

yes by countout. who knew a fall to the outside of the ring and having a tiny bump to a table will knock you out right until the bell rings.

Blame their choreographers & the WWE writers for making up that kind of match. They use to make matches where wrestlers bleed, ref's being knocked out & interferance's now it's just boring.
