Some people think it's peer pressure but parents and guardians should teach the kids to be above that.

It is ALWAYS the parents or Guardians fault if their child turns out bad. The trouble is these people have always got an excuse and always swear it not their fault. When a child is born their brains are empty like an empty bottle and it is up to parents and Guardians to fill that bottle. Anything a child hears fills that bottle, swearing, anger, fighting, argueing all fill that bottle. What do parents do today, they want peace from their kids, easy, give em a playstation. More Violence, more hatred filling that bottle. When will these parents/Guardians accept their responsibilities without making excuses. Reminds me of when I was in school "PLEASE SIR, IT WASN'T MY FAULT".
Monkey69 is a typical response,,,,,People do make their own decisions, KIDS DON'T.

Not "always", but usually. There are bad influences in the world that parents can't always have a check on, like cults, bad friends, neurological conditions, and some bad family members. You're right, though, peer pressure shouldn't be an issue if the parents/guardians were raising their kids to be self-sufficient, productive members of society.

If a child turns out (as you put it) bad, the child's upbring may not be the underlining problem. There's a lot of things that the parent and or the guardian has no control over. To blame someone for the raising of a child can only go so far, the rest is up to them !!!

Most of the time I blame the parents. I do have to admit that I have a family member who has wonderful and attentive parents, but she was just the bad seed. Her brother and sister both turned out to be responsible, well-rounded adults, but she was and still is in trouble with the law and drugs constantly. I seriously don't know what happened to her. She's the oldest of the three (so we can't blame it on middle child syndrome). Her parents were not too young when they had her either.

Most parents do the very best they know how to do with the very best intentions. But parents aren't perfect this is a job you don't have any previous experience at. You learn as you go along and sometimes even with the best of intentions you screw up. Not many parents set out to screw up their children on purpose

There is something the children can do after they become adults and realize there are some parts of themselves that's a bit off...a psychologist.

well ;parents cannot always be there... a parents job is not ot baby sit but to steer a child in the right direction. and parents do play a role in how a child comes out in the end... if the parent didnt spend time with the child and if they were abused or something that can have an effect! but a parent being to loving and caring and tyring to be a childs friend is bad as well.

Some parents let their kids go at an early age and the kids become mixed up in the wrong things.

Parents are to protect there childern and guide them in the right direction. Once the child grows up and messes up in life. it is his own fault. not the parents. Plus there are no bad people, no one is perfect, no one. claiming responsiblity for your own acctions is part of healing what went wrong. and doing better after words.

I believe so but not all the time. I believe that my parents disciplined me and raised me the best they could. But cutting school was MY decision, not theirs. They shouldn't be penalized for my stupid mistakes. I knew what I was doing and they believed I was going to school until the phone calls came.
