If you were to swear/yell at an elected official in the US, or maybe Laura Bush, about the atrocities that are happening in the country, what would happen?

American citizens have the freedom to express themselves as long as it doesn't encroach on the the rights of another person. If you were able to get close enough to an elected official, you could legally express your views and concerns as long as your manner didn't pose a threat to their safety. You won't be arrested or punished.

Uhm, the security would probably just hold you back and take you away from them. Nothing more than that unless you were a threat.

you would be rmoved by the secret service. you would not go to jail unless you were "indecent" in public or threatened to hurt someone.

What atrocities are you referring to? When crimes are committed by rank and file personnel, the President's wife is not to blame, so why would you even consider such a question, duh.
