Tell her to love herself anyways and if she likes herself the way she is then she should tell everyone that she loves herself and God loves her too, if shes not comfortable, like me, then she should accept that shes gained weight and then try the next step, losin the weight. Hope this helps.

Isn't 130 pounds at 4' 11" a bit overweight? If so, maybe the other women want to challenge her to lose weight by chiding her about her weight. As "cruel" as people claim this is, oftentimes it's just that type of challenge that gets somebody off their backside and in motion to do something about it. My bet is that your friend's mom and sisters, and even some of her friends, are challenging her to do better for herself more than just insulting her or chide her. God Bless you.

I am 5 feet tall and about 103 pounds and I think I am fat. Your friend needs to lose weight. 130 is a lot for that height. It is not healthy to be overweight.

Well, I'm sorry but your friend is fat for being 130 pounds and only 4'11". She is waaay overweight. I am 5'2" and I weigh 90 pounds, which is acutally 20 pounds UNDEWEIGHT...Your friend is about 20 pounds OVERWEIGHT. (I am 17). She needs to go to her doctor and go on a diet!!!! How could she let herself get that fat and unhealthy? How could her parents let her get fat and unhealthy? She needs to start making better choices with eating and exercising.

well I'm not sure what you're asking but that is kinda mena but for a mother to call her own daughter fat it takes love you ahve to look beyond the action and look at the intention! My mom told me I was slowly gaining weight and becoming chubby so I started a healthier life style and now i'm really happy that she did that becuase with out direction in life where would we end up?

THAT IS A LITTLE TOO MUCH WEIGHT FOR HER HEIGHT BUT IT IS A TERRIBLE THING TO GO AROUND CALLING THEM FAT...THAT IS LIKE SLAPPING THEM IN THE FACE EVERY TIME SOMEONE DOE THAT....I KNOW I WAS IN THE SAME POSITION AT ONE TIME AND IF I DON'T GET GOING ON MY EX CERISE PROGRAM AGAIN I'M GOING TO START LOOKING BAD AGAIN.....IS THERE AWAY (BEING HER FRIEND) THAT YOU COULD MAYBE HELP HER TRY TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT? OR SHE IS HAPPY THE WAY SHE IS? YOU CAN FORCE HER TO CHANGE..SHE WILL WANT TO....ONE WAY IS TO WATCH WHAT SHE EATS AND TELL HER IN A NICE WAY THAT IS A NO,NO...YOU COULD GO BIKE RIDING WITH HER...OR TAKE A WALK EVERYDAY...JUST LITTLE THINGS LIKE THAT MEAN A GREAT DEAL TO A PERSON WHO IS BEING CALLED NAMES...SHAME ON HER FAMILY ESPECIALLY HER MOTHER...THAT IS THE WORST THING A MOTHER CAN DO TO HER DAUGHTER...SOMEONE SHOULD STOP HER NOW BEFORE SHE HURTS HER DAUGHTER MORE ...THIS IS REALLY A MENTAL TRIP FOR YOUR FRIEND....

She IS fat. She should really do something about it because I just saw a news article the other day that said young women who are obese by 18 don't live as long as their thinner counterparts.
