how do you program for the dreamcast?

I have searched online to find out how people are making homebrew apps for dreamcast but all the websites I have found that tell you how to do so have yet to be finished meaning it starts with the basic steps but with the need to know stuff it stops!!!

There is a software development kit (SDK) available. You have to google it.
