I got my web page through yahoo. I have my own domain name.

Ftp up to the site, or connect to yahoo, delete that page, and just put up your new one. Make sure you have the file labeled, "index.html" or it wont work

I guess you mean set it as your homepage? To do that go to tools, internet options and with the page you want to be your home page on your screen check use current.

go to:
control panel>internet options
in the address line wite your desire address.
