Can most hamsters be named "Prickly Pete" easily? Or is there rigorous process involved in it?

I know CAN name a hamster whatever. And don't give me suggestions!!! How HARD is it to name one "Prickly Pete"?!

I had a hamster in high school..I named him Burn Out..cause he had little red beady eyes..
