I cannot believe that they are already bringing out a movie about the World Trade Center, for me personally I know it happend but still reflecting back to that day it seemed unbelieveable. And I find it hillarious that in the preview it says A TRUE STORY, really?? Where was I when that happened...
Why do I want to watch a movie of a horrible memory it's like putting my hand into the fire after knowing that it hurts........

There are two answers to this question. The first one is "yes" America needs to be reminded of what happened that day in lower Manhattan. They need to be reminded of the sacrifice, the pain, the anguish caused by the terrorists. I think too many people have forgotten what it was like that tuesday morning to be on your way to work or just waking up, to listen on the radio as the towers collapsed, to see the replay of the planes hitting the building and the fireballs. America needs to remember the bravery and fearlessness of the firemen, policemen, and average people that day. Their heroism is exactly what being an American is all about.

The second answer is on a personal level. I remember all the tears shed that week, the pictures on the tv of the smoking wreckage and the thousands upon thousands of fliers with the names pictures and descriptions of the missing. I remember how painful it was to think about, and how reassuring Rev. Billy Graham's sermon was at the National Day of Rememberance. I've spent the last five years steeling myself in resolute silence that we must defeat islamic terrorism, and in trying toeducate the people who think it was all a conspiracy because of oil or some stupid reason like that.

I don't need to see this movie, because I can close my eyes and remember that day as clearly as I remember this morning's breakfast. I might rent it when it comes out on dvd, it would be far too emotional to see in a movie theater. 9/11 was a public tragedy that all of us deal with in a personal way.

Well, to begin with since Oliver Stone made this movie, we all know that it won't stick to the truth. He has never been good at retelling history. He is a good movie maker basing his movie on actual events, but adding too much Hollywood.

Second, shame on Nick Cage for trying to cash in on this tragic event.

I agree that this is not something that Hollywood should try to reenact. As Americans, however, our memory is very short!

The intention is too make money, which isn't right but then again I guess it puts things into perspective for the country looking at the past and realizing how much the country has made progress helps the wounds, but you are right the intention of capitalizing off of 9/11 is tooo soon!

we'd desire to stand what handed off.We have been given attacked and hundreds of harmless people died.making a movie a pair of genuine existence tragedy is somewhat distasteful in my view.possibly if I had a chum or kinfolk member die that day then i might sense diverse. My B-day is 9/11 so i'm reminded on a regular basis of it.i think of they might desire to quit making video clips approximately it and build memorials and help the families of the lifeless.greater perfect yet they might desire to make a 10hr movie approximately all the sufferers and their families cuz i might somewhat watch that then sit down by a Hollywood version of actors portraying "genuine people." If we're not waiting now......we on no account would be.

For some people it may be too soon to relive that day especially for close families and relatives, plus friends. No one I knew died in the attack, but I cried, how could you not? It's apart of history, but let's not make a movie just yet.

I think the movie's could give a "different" look on what happened. Making us see how tragic 9-11 really was. I think it could be really informative.

I think i'm tired of hearing about it. Yes america has been ready for it. Why shouldn't someone make some money off of it. So far it's cost us money. With all the memorials and crap.
