These Heat Waves Are Worrying Me...?

Question

Im afraid in some time that the whole world will be expiriencing this awful effect from global warming. Its simply amazing once you think about it, how much one degree makes. I live in France, and of course, it's summer so naturally, it's a little be less cooler, but this is kindof outragous. Is anyone else worried sometime in the future, these effects will be permeneant?

We are bringing this upon us but I don't think you should worry as you will not see major effects in your lifetime. Those heat waves, tsunamis and many hurricanes are just punctual events in my opinion. I don't think it is something that we will be seeing on a permanent basis. And if you live in France, then you should remember that the last real heat wave you experienced was 3 years ago. Last year was pretty normal.

This weather in no hotter than when I was a kid in the 60s. There is no doubt that global warming is real, but I do not believe that this year's hot weather is any worse overall than it has been in the past. In the first week of July, temps were in the low 40s in southern Michigan and my furnace kicked on. A week later, it was in the mid 90s, then it cooled off and the furnace came on again. Global cooling too?

I think most people don't comprehend the natural progression of a planet. While some think that humans are to blame for this shift, the actual culprits might be cows. Recent studies showed dangerous levels of methane gas (global warming/greenhouse gas) in the state of California. Was it the hummers and SUVs...no, it was the cattle ranches and feed lots. These shifts have happened before and can be documented by studying weather trends in history.

I have noticed that summer this year is a lot warmer than usual, the temperature has been unusually high for over a month now. The heat waves are continuous this year, there is hardly any break between them. You should see the movie An Inconvenient Truth, it explains a lot. I've heard that this will be permanent if we don't lower carbon dioxide level soon.

Global warming is happening. It's been proven and there's no question. However, for the giant glaciers to melt enough to make any sort of effect in the oceans to be considered catastrophic will not happen in our lifetimes.

It could take several hundred years. So don't worry.

Yes it bothers me at times. I have noticed a gradual clime in our local temperature for the last few years. In the summer we never even reached 100 degrees, and now we are going over 100 degrees more and more each year.

It's no big deal....... if you look through history, there's been other times like this..... just part of the Earth's natural weather cycle...... I recall mention elsewhere of there being big heatwaves in 1911 + 1976..... some even WAY before invention of internal combustion engines.

Cats can tolerate the warmth somewhat greater advantageous than canine yet they do require distinctive unpolluted water and offering some followers throughout the time of the domicile till the ac is fixed could certainly grant non everlasting alleviation. evaluate the cats retaining cool as you are able to your self and person-friendly experience would be triumphant. desire your ac is fixed very quickly.

It's reality. Global warming is happening and will only get worse. Sad but we brought this upon ourselves.
