There are plenty of jealous people indeed! Anytime one lives in a capitalistic world such as the good ol' US, people want more material things and are envious of those that have the biggest and the best. It seems that some people in that enviornment are just that way and frankly it is a waste of energy. As people grow older, most become satisfied with what they have and the jealously seems to deminish. Humans are notorious and often vicious when trying satisfy their desire for comfort and pursuit of "keeping up with the Jone's".

It's because most people aren't happy with themselves and by hating on others, it makes them feel a bit better.
I have stopped being jealous. It's stupid and frankly, I have nothing to be jealous of.

I think it's just a human condition. I wouldn't say there is nothing you can do about it. If you know you are a jealous person you can work on it.

that's what i want to know..why does it seem like when i be around people that have less than me they are always jealous..so what if I'm a successful handsome sexy man..i love being me..why can't they love me to??

I do not think people are born with Jealousy , though. They develop insecurities which turn into Jealousy or they just become hateful...

I can only speak for my self, but Have you seen me, I am drop dead gorgeous. I get jealous of myself when I look in mirror.

They don't want to work to get what they want so they make other people's lives miserable because those people are willing to work hard and get nice things.
