Great America in Santa Clara will probably be the most popular with them. You can also get there from the Lightrail if they don't have transportation. Raging Waters water park in East San Jose would also be a big hit, especially with the 100 degree heat we're having right now!

The Tech museum is interesting ( & also off Lightrail), but won't consume more than a couple of hours. It also has an IMAX theater.

Tech Museum & Great America are local. You can also go over Highway 17 to Santa Cruz and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

But whatever you do, don't go to the Winchester Mystery House. It sounds cool, but really is not.

My intestine tells me Austin is a greater perfect determination for you, yet residing in California is great. there is a lot to do in in simple terms this one single state. you may litterally snowboard one weekend and then pass surfering the subsequent and then pass camping out in the redwoods the weekend after that! nevertheless San Jose is a particularly bland city as a great way a metropolitans pass. fortuitously it particularly is in elementary terms an hour faraway from San Francisco and a short flight from L.A. It additionally has valuable climate 3 hundred and sixty 5 days around. contemporary comments revealed reported it particularly is lots greater perfect crime clever whilst in comparison with different Californian vast cities. in case you go with to purchase a house and quiet down i might say stay in Austin. I dont think of figuring out to purchase a house is nicely worth it in San Jose.. it particularly is in simple terms not that valuable of a place in comparison Austin (so I pay attention)and the fees are rediculous. nevertheless, in case you go with to locate some fairly thrilling places and have great nutrients accessible to you from all world extensive, you won't be ready to choose for many greater perfect places in the U. S. than San Jose. A notice all out of staters might desire to comprehend approximately California...do not pass to this state for the California seashores.. in fact San Diego seashores are the only ones comparable to Texas seashores. maximum Californian seashores have water it fairly is somewhat chilly, salty, and murky. some days it particularly is like your swimming in a seaweed wooded area. The seashores are greater for camping out or getting faraway from the city than an afternoon plashing in the oceans. it is likewise possible to pass to a coastline in L.A. and a few days not see a single individual in the water.
