my Grandma taught me how when i was like 6 or 7 which was in like 95 or 96. She taught me how to play double soltiare and rummy, now I'm the one teaching her how to play rummy and solitare, as sad as that sounds.

My Momaw taught me to play rummy when I was like 6 years old. Those are some of my best memories of her. We used to sit & play for hours during the summers. I remember she did the cutest little thing when she dealt the cards too. She would deal them out counting the cards as she went..."1,1 2,2 3,3 4,4 5,5 6,6 7,7 All good children go to Heaven." I've started teaching my kids the same way.

I always used to play rummy with my nan, and with her gambling mad friend from over the road. We used to play for pennies.
