Need more information. Is your entire screen green all the time? This would indicate a fried video card. If only the window where the video is playing is green, you may lack the proper codecs for that video format or the codecs/target file are corrupted.

What video player and operating system are you using?

viewing video on a computer is different from regular 2d graphics. Video is displayed using a video overlay. Most common reasons for problems are because of video driver, video codec for whatever player your using, not enough cpu power and or memory.

You are missing a codec. Try upgrading your media player or check the faq on the site to see if there is an additional codec required for the player.

Perhaps you need some codecs. Download VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org It can play just about any type of file. If that doesn't work the file you're trying to play is corrupted.

maximum probable the priority is with your photographs card. try re-putting it in the gadget. be sure you hooked the video demonstrate cable to the suggestions-blowing port. i do no longer think of that's a concern with the CPU. CPU has no longer something to do with video demonstrate. some CPUs like Corei 3 and 5 even nonetheless comes with geared up in photographs nonetheless. besides, examine your photographs connections first.
