I have been worried about this , Im not a big computer person and I opened bulk mail and responded to it by ordering what they wanted me too on my credit card giveing imformation , I did cancel my card after I did it , but what else should I do ? should I cancel my email address with yahoo ? can they track my address and messages ? yahoo tells me how to pervent spam but not what to do after I have been spammed , what else should be done ?

You were "phished." Canceling the card was smart. Call the card company back and tell them everything, and ask what other steps they recommend. Good luck!

You did the right thing by canceling the card. And as far as spam in your email get used to it. Spam is more than half of my email, about all you can do is delete it.Never open it or you will encourage more crap to come your way. And in the future when you see something that catches your eye just seek it out on the web and buy it in a store if possible. Look at it this way you have learned a lesson here....good luck and be careful.

girl the same thing is happening to me i sing up for spam and i have like 200 messages every day but i have never order anything from then and never will if i was you i would cancel everything even the yahoo id and check your credit once in while just to make sure everything is cool!!!!!!!

As long as the email didn't have any images or attachments, I think you are ok. If it had any images/attachments, I recommend changing your passwords (they might have had a cookie stealer hidden in one of the images to get your passwords). Make sure you scan your computer with an antivirus program. If it returns nothing, you are good to go.
