Whatever makes you think it is dangerous to be outside when it is 99 degrees? I live in the tropics and it is reaches 99o here most days for over 5 months of the year.

Do youthink people here just don't go outside for 5 months at a time? Of course not. We live and work in those temperatures and we work and play in full sunlight even in the middle of the day.

It isn't in anyway dangerous so long as you are sensible. Humans eveolve din the tropicel savannahs of Africa. We are dapted to those conditions, we thrive in them. Such temepratures are far less dangerous than cold temperatures which humans did not evolve to cope with.

Far more people die of hypothermia than have ever died of hyperthermia.

Because the hotter it is the more you sweat and the more you sweat the more fluids your body looses. Once your body looses enough fluid you suffer from heat exhaustion. If that goes unchecked you could suffer from a heat stroke and possibly die. If a person is going to be outside in high temperatures they should always have either water or something like Gatorade with them. Soda or alcohol will not help.

If you're not healthy, or you are elderly, it can be very dangerous due to Dehydration & Heat Strokes.

If you do have to go out into the heat... make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids to keep you hydrated. Try to wear sunscreen that is at least SPF 30 so you don't sun-burn and get skin cancer, and where sunglasses so the sun rays don't damage your retinas.

You have to make sure that you're properly hydrated by having drunk sufficient water and that your skin is protected from the sun by clothing or sunscreen. Otherwise, you could be outside safely in high temperatures for short periods of time without risking sunburn or dehydration.

It is not very dangerous. You can cover your head by a cap or whatever you use in your country. Drink sufficient water. Keep an onion inside your cap .That helps to fight heat and this practise is common in North India

Because your body has to work harder to bring down it's temp, if it has risen, & you then have a greater chance of heatstroke or other related illnesses.
