No they're not. They're dumb and their I.Q.s are about the same as a sponge. They say things like 'do what?' and they watch Nascar and drink beer by the case. They're missing several teeth, have 6 kids, live in a trailer, don't bathe for weeks and smell like hot cabbage. But hey, if that's your thing...
Southern Missouri is full of them. Kentucky, Arkansas and Tennessee has quite a few as well. But I've never seen any as dumb as the ones in Southern Missouri.

West Virginia and western North Carolina have lots of them, but pretty well anywhere in the South will have its share of rednecks. There are even some here in Colorado.
