I took them out for a job interview, they are 14 gauge and I got them done about 5 weeks ago, anyway I went ot go put them back in after waiting a night, and they wouldnt go in! I tried a smaller gauge, (16) and it felt like the holes were closed. Is it possible for a 5 week old hole that is 14 gauge to close over night?

Yes. Even after I had my ears pierced for awhile if I left my gauges out for one night they would be small. Plus a 14 gauge is so small to begin with

Try rubbing some oil on the area and try again if its closed you can always have the D.I.Y at home without any bleeding or pain

1) Grab some ice cubes and place it on the area for about 10 mins

2) Ram the darn thing in your ear it wont hurt all youd hear is a thud.

3) it only feels like your teacher is pulling your ears.

Ice is so wonderful for piercings cause its painless.
