Eye taken out. It's painful, yes, but not as shocking. You can at least then wear a patch or a glass eye. No way to hide the fact that you don't have a tongue. I have a question for you. Would you want a boyfriend or lover that didn't have a tongue? Think about that. ;-)

why would a kidnapper want to cut your tongue off or gauge your eyes out iv heard they sometimes cut your finger off but why the tongue yes you are mental go have another drink and chill out girl i mean some people say im a little mad but not that mad i hope

I'd go for the tongue being cut out. I'd much rather be mute than blind! Plus, I think the tongue would hurt less. Oh, and this is assuming I lived through this ordeal.

But if they took the tooth, you wouldn't bite your tongue?..... Arrrgh! This is TOO Weird for me!
Both would result in serious dibilitation, and maybe even Death, so why the choice?

Like Charles I think the tongue would hurt less (& I'm not to good with pain so I think I'd go for this) but I think I would miss tasting more than I'd miss my sight

An eye for me. There's more scope to accessorize - Patches, wierd coloured falsies and so on!
On the whole I'd rather keep all my bits though!
