Now that I'm retired early in life, I've often thought of that question, and either the southern coast of France, or Italy, or the Grande Canyon come to mind. And then I think, "Think of all the money it takes to truly enjoy such trips, and how much time and energy it takes to go on such trips, and how many people are around you while you're trying to enjoy yourself, and how rude they are, and how many rules of etiquette or "manners" you'll have to know and obey. And then it dawns on me. I just built a brand new house in the prettiest wooded country in northeast Texas where all around me are trees of soft and hard wood, and grass and bushes. Green everywhere!! And I don't have to go anywhere to enjoy this lifelong dream. And I've already spent all this money for this home and land, and it's an investment instead of an expenditure, and I don't have to worry about rules of etiquette because I MAKE THE RULES OF ETIQUETTE here, and manners, and I get to enforce them plentifully. And it doesn't take any time to get here because I'M ALREADY HERE!! And I get to enjoy it 24 / 7 for as long as I live!! WOW!! My friends are right. My whole life is a vacation now. Wow!! Thank God for all the joys He has given me!! And God Bless you!!
