Only when one "side" wins a decisive victory in a major war will there be "peace". It's then a matter of how long it takes the losing side to reorganize and rearm then become a threat again. There will never be peace in the Middle East, only the periods between wars I am afraid.

Hard to say. When both sides realise they need to stop the violence - because it's circular - they are both in the wrong.
If they don't, it will always be there.
I am thinking that it won't be over for a very long time.

Not as long as the Arabs want to kill every Jew. If you don't remember much, remember this: Israel has no option but to fight. ALL of the Arab states have vowed to annihilate Israel and the Jews. Surrender is not an option. If they go down, they are not going to go down peaceably. I think the Arabs still have not gotten that.

no. always seems to be conflict over there for some reason. and as long as people regard that area Holy land, will never see it peaceful over there.
