he comes back every december through middle of march then goes back to boston. due to money and insurance. we moved here right after we married. i have never cheated on him and would never, we were talking about me going back there and i would love too, but my daughter has since moved here got married and is now expecting our first grandson anytime now. my daughter will be moving to georgia at end of month, and if i move i may never see them. i am torn, can this marriage last this way?

In the past eight years he's gone to Korea for a year, Bosnia for six months, Afghanistan for a year and Iraq for a year and our married is more solid today than it was when we married because our love only gets stronger. Not to mention the numberous times he's gone in the field for weeks or months at a time. We've been married 13 years with four children. You need to be by your husband's side. I can understand you wanting to see your grandchild, but you want to be around your daughter and grandchild more than you want to be around your husband. Go with your husband and visit your daughter from time to time, obviously it is a doable thing, since your husband can afford to come home from december to march. A man needs to have a loving wife waiting for him at home after a hard days work, and vice versa. Do what you have to do before another finds herself in your place, and how would you ever know? You are so far away.

Your daughter is married and living her life....you're married and should live yours. Once you move there are various modes of transportation that can take you to your daughter in Georgia. Why did you even bother to get married you could have just had a nice long distance occasional relationship.
