My favorite pet is my mutt. She is not thorough bred which makes her humble instead of proud or worst high and mighty..She lets my kids terrorize her and doesn't even snarl...She is the most loyal and loving dog I ever had and when she passes I'm gonna have her stuffed so we can keep her forever....

Its hard to beat a minidachshund, they are so family oriented and loveable!!!! We have had our Honeybun for over a year and a half........she is so adorable and funny and loves to please us, and we are 'of the older generation' and she is allowed to keep us company all the time.........we take her with us when we go down to Tenn, she loves the mountains!!! too...........so i suppose i would say a dog..........the smaller ones are good, the smaller the dog, the smaller the pooh.......
good luck,

I love gerbils. They're the least smelly of all rodents and they're awake during the day time when you are.
