Just a cycle earth is going through or fault of human activity?

Watch "An Inconvenient Truth" for one perspective on this. It appears to me that even though many argue against Global Warming by saying the earth goes through cycles, most scientists say that global warming is a real thing which is being accelerated by human activity increasing the greenhouse effect.
