This is "Let it be" by The Beatles. If you like this sort of thing, tell me what you think. I decided to use Ce sera over the other translations for the purpuse of the rhythm, rhyme and because I can't use ainsi soit-il.

Translation:

I love songs in French. When I was a little girl, I lived in France for four years. I went to kindergarten with all the little French kids and sang and spoke French fluently... but when I started first grade, I had to go to the American school on the Army base. I love the French language. It's so sexy.

A song is always better when it's sung in its original language, no matter what that language might be. So, I like that song, but not in French. If you want French in a Beatles song, go for Michelle instead.

Also, French isn't the most singable language in the world. It's nice to listen to, but a b*tch to actually sing. And I'm speaking as a person who's actually LEARNING French!

I do. Many of them. I have a lot of island and other world music in my collection, sung in French.

My FAVORITES, are songs that were written in French to begin with.

For example...2 of my favorites are by CIRQUE DE SOLEIL,
"ALLEGRIA"...SOOOOO beautiful.
and "HIJO DE LA LUNA".

I also like it when English songs have some French lyrics in them.

Such as, "Michelle" by The Beatles"..and
"Call Me" by Blondie.

VERY NICE.

I don't know if you're familiar with the song, "AUBERGE" by Chris Rea but it's extremely beautiful and I would LOVE to hear that sung in French!
