i have tumbled all my life and how i was taught was for the splits lay down on your back and keep one leg straight and have one person lift your other leg up as far as it can go and hold it for a while then switch..and for your middle splits just go down as far as you can and hold it and slowly keep moving down. front and backhandsprings you need to take some sort of tumbling class and have them spot you until you get it by yourself or get better at itso you dont hurt yourself. backbends stand backwards against a wall and slowly walk down it with your hands. or just have someone stand beside you and help lift you up. hope this helps.

Wow, this really depends on whether you have access to a gym or not. If you do, the best way to practice your backbends and either learn or improve your back handsprings is to use a roly poly or a barrel. Practice going over those slowly forward and backward and increase your "spring". If you don't have access to a gym, you might try one of those large exercise balls. You might get a friend or family member to tape you so you can see yourself and correct anything you are doing wrong. This will let you see the areas you need to improve upon as well. As for the splits, ask your cheer coach. I always used to strech out well every day and go into the different splits. Don't bounce when you stretch, just try to push yourself a little further each time. Good luck!

A big workout!! I was in cheerleading in middle school and I had to learn how to do all of that stuff. For spilts stretch a lot till u become more flexible, Yoga helps a lot, with all 3 splits!! For front + backhand springs you have to have strong abs + Arms, (I did lots of crunches there were weeks when I did 400 a day!! But on average I started with 40, went up to 60, then to 100 a day, and finally I did 200 on avaerage!!!! Plush u need to do push ups and tone ur arms with Iight weights), and you have to trust yourself!! front handsprings are less scary then back ones, but they are a little bit harder!! You need to train with somebody who has a backround of Gymnastics, and always use spotters, (People who will help u fip ur body around and won't let u fall on the floor!!) It takes a lot of practice and training because if you just randomly do a back handspring and u don't know what u are doing, u can really injure urself!! Try taking up some gymnastics, u'll get in shape, learn how to do cool flips, and learn really good balance!! as far as back bend go that is the easiest thing to learn!! You just slowly bend backwards, don't freak out and watch ur hands until they touch the floor!! Flexibility helps here to cuz you have to bend your back so far!! And remember results take time so practice really does make perfect!!

i'm extra into 'answering' than 'asking' the following on Y!A and, like you, a number of my responses do get quite verbose.. notwithstanding,... ... when I do post the occasional question, the respondent i'm maximum probably to award the, albeit doubtful, award of "acceptable answer" to is the answer that i think changed into the end results of someone who took the time to proffer a 'considerate' answer to my question. that is the reason I many times scroll to the bottom of the web page of solutions and artwork my some time previous up; for the further severe solutions are many times the only accurate ones revealed. i have even been comprehend to furnish a BA to a reaction that I disagreed with, - and easily because I felt the attempt given to 'create' that answer changed into extra worth of the excellence than than all of us-liner posts i'd ensue to consider. I do have some puppy peeves, although: i do unlike replica/PASTE solutions: C/P excerpts interior an answer are superb,.. yet to furnish only a C/Ped piece from, say, a WIki article isn't an answer: that is plagiarism...:-)) 'textual content talk' AGRAV8S ME: Y!A is a Q&A talk board, no longer a communicate room. there's a lot of time on the following to thoroughly spell out the words to an answer. SPELLING COUNTS, - AND SYNTAX concerns: all of us make blunders, and that is superb,... ...yet there is little excuse for the deplorable orthographics I in many situations see displayed the following on Y!A, - quite even as there is trouble-free get admission to to the 'verify Spelling' function. lengthy solutions aren't to any extent further continuously good solutions: i have stumbled on that the intolerably lengthy solutions are many times the end results of of an over-zealous 'shrink-and-paster'. i visit offer a thumbs-right down to such solutions in order to facilitate my get admission to to different solutions. i imagine that is about it...:-)) So, MumOF4,... ... in case you be conscious that i have revealed a question, be at liberty to reply to it with 'optimal verbosity', and comprehend that your reaction will easily receive my interest...:-)) -
