I am pretty smart and can understand anything written on a page. But- when i try to explain myself or speak to someone, i know the point i want to get across, but the words don't come out right. What class in college can i take to help me with this problem?

A speech class would be great. Also consider taking voice lessons - the same breath support you use for singing can help you through difficult talks and speeches. Read this page, too: http://geocities.com/fudgethink/speak.htm . Good luck - you can do it!

A class in public speaking, or critical thinking skills maybe? So you can organize thoughts and speak them without getting it mixed up.
