Long story short, she's out of town for 3 months and no one carries her brand of beer, so she picked up a case of MGD, tried one and decided she didn't like it. She knows that MGD is my beer of choice so when she asked me if I wanted it, I said yeah, how you gonna get it to me? She she that she would FedEx it (I thought she was joking), but much to my surprise, I got a call from the guy in the mailroom telling me that I had an 'interesting' package waiting for me (one bottle didn't make it and you could smell it, plus they'd run it thru the x-ray machine so they knew what was in there *smile*). When I got it back upstairs to my desk, I did what anybody would do... I cracked one and enjoyed it over a nice cup of ice.
Would you have waited til you got home to have one (booo!) or would you have done what I did? Be honest.
Oh yeah, I only had 1 and it was with my lunch.

Ya did the right thing...there's no point in waiting to get home...heck it'd be a miracle if some beer showed up here at work for me!! Make the day a bit easier!!

Are you normally allowed to drink on the job? If so, then you did the right thing. Otherwise (and more realistically) you really shouldn't have drank on the job. I wonder, are you asking us because you got caught or fired? Next time, wait till you get home.
