Should senators and representatives be barred form accepting, largely symbolic, yet extremly high paid positions from corporations after they rtire from 'public service'?
It seems to be a long running joke on the American people. do bribery before hand and the HUGE payoff afterwards!
It is the truth (however unprovable it may be) that these posiions are payofs for pushing through or blocking legislation that is beneficial/detrimental to said company!
If the ban were there, these corporations would have to find another way to pay off the bribes. That might be more prosecutable.
Secondarily, should not the justice dep't investigate every one that has already happened? Seems that we might get some law overturned if we can show the Buying of the votes in this way.

As for lobbies? Yes they shold be forever banned!
ONE man one vote not one dollar or one company!
corporations have NO say so in our system!
(in theory) and that is how it should be!
