There is a product called Avalon Organics Lavender eye gel that has a specialty ingredient that has been clinically proven to get rid of dark under eye circles, not by covering them up but removing the blood that pools there.

Hey there, I know exactly where you are coming from on this topic! However, dark circles don't always 'go away'....you see, more often than not, they are an inherited condition, so the chances of them going are slim. Depending on their cause for being, they will remain or (if you are lucky), disappear. Some people recommend cucumber as a home remedy if you have dark circles due to over exhausting your eyes. However, if you find that ineffective, try some of these:
1. Add more capsicane into your diet by eating red or yellow peppers.
2. Increase your iron intake: this is known to make the skin under your eyes healthier and cause the skin to hide the veins forming the circles.
3. Frozen spoons dipped in herbal tea: (Dip spoons in tea and freeze them). This is supposed to reduce puffiness and shrink the skin under your eyes allowing the circles to be less visible.
If none of these work, chances are, you've inherited them from a family member...try out Givenchy's eye cotour gel or maybe think towards regular de-tox programmes....if none of these seem like reasonable options...try a cover up...yellow based concealer or air brushed concealer help hide under eye circles 100%
Hope this has helped,
Good luck

You have to cover it up. The reason we get dark circles under our eyes is because the skin under the eye is thinner than the rest of the skin on our face. That's a fact. All those creams that say they will lighten the skin color are lies. They do have some creams that help reflect light so the circles will not look as dark. You can get it at any Clinique counter. Your best bet is to just use counselor. Make sure you use a color that matches with your natural skin tone. Or you'll end up looking like a freak with different shaded circles under your eyes.

A concealer that is lighter than your foundation (you may have to blend a couple of shades together to get a good color). Liquid concealer and foundation are best with a powder finish. Also, try using a dot of white pencil in the inner corner of your eyes to open them up a little bit and a white or light eye shadow just under the brow line to get people to look at your whole eye and not just the dark circles.

Do you have a vitamin K deficiency? Use a vitamin K gel nightly. Also get advice on the proper cover up makeup and the right shade. You probably need to waer it under a good foundation. Go to your local department store inthe makeup section. Have someone give you a makeover and let them know you particularly are looking to buy a product that works best for yor condition. Keep checking until you find theone that works best for you. Hydroderm is a very good product.

OK girl I have the same problem as you. I have big dark circles. All I use is stick foundation. It works really good but u have to not rub under your eyes or it will just come off really easily.

Dark circles under your eyes can also be caused by allergies. They are commonly referred as "allergy shiners". If they just suddenly appeared I would see a Dr. to see if you have any allergies. A light concealer will help make sure the shade is 2 shades lighter than your skin tone.

Try concealer. I have your exact same problem, worse cause my eye circles are hereditary...
I've tried tons (MAC, Dior, all the drugstore brands, Chanel), right now, the best one I've tried is Lancome Effacernes waterproof concealer. It has great texture, very blendable and not too thick. But I have yet to find the concealer that makes circles disappear completely, without feeling too heavy or drying.

Avon sells an undereye dark circle eliminator that fades them out over time and works pretty well. Try using a yellow based concealor, too, it works well to make them less noticeable.

Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer is the best concealer I've ever used--covered up dark circles when I had my baby. A little goes a long way and it is worth every penny.

-Daily, take a women's multivitamin, drink plenty of water, and maintain a well-balanced diet - as referenced in some of the sites above.
-In most stores and drug stores you can find a gel and cream specifically for diminishing under-eye circles and puffiness - You can use a gel-based one morning and night after cleansing and toning, but if you use a cream, only use once a day as the pores in this area are more sensitive and can clog easily causing whiteheads. If you already have problems with blemishes in this area, just use a gel-based product.
-Conceal: Try this one, as directed, you can find it in most grocery and drug stores: http://www.physiciansformula.com/detail_list.asp?itemid=02467&scene=CONCEALERS&categorid=110 - apply on the dark areas of your eye and other places as needed (sometimes using your pinky finger with a rolling movement is easiest).
