The earth rotates 1 degree in 4 minutes. Therefore, it rotates 60 degrees in 60 x 4 minutes. That gives you 240 minutes, which is equivalent to 4 hours.

60 - because we have to find how much does it rotate in 60 degrees
if it rotates 360 degrees in 24 hours we have to find how much does it take when rotating 60 degrees

= 4
