there is a big canister on the passenger side next to the firewall. You'll see wires going up to the switch. Unplug the wires and use a wrench to disconnect the switch.

Mechanic told me it was integral with compressor. Anyway, you've only got one wire set to enable the a/c and that's where it plugs into the back of the compressor.

Hope this helps .... it's 104* + here in eastern Oklahoma. How's the city doing with the heat wave?
