Why do men prefer large breasts over small ones when they all perform the same function?

It's a curious thing. I am definitely a breast man. And large ones really catch my attention. But they don't have to be large to mesmerize me. One gal I know (who isn't particularly pretty) is very small breasted (I don't know what size. I haven't asked her yet. But they're probably A's). However, she is so absolutely voluptuous to look at. She has a wonderful personality. She generally shows a hint of skin and her shirts are just tight enough to show her shape well. She dresses very nicely - very classy. She is so sexy, I'm getting excited just thinking about her.

I don't know how she does it, but she is living proof that a little can go a VERY LONG way. I'm sure she catches me looking longingly at her breasts.

They are advertisements of sexual fertility derived from a signal that in our distant ancestors displayed sexual receptiveness. It's the difference between a newspaper ad and a billboard. Men are hardwired to notice breasts. Bigger attracts more attention.

Not to say it's better, aesthetically or practically huge breasts usually don't hold up very well. Stretch marks, back problems and an undercurve you could smuggle mexicans in under. (:P

Larger breasts suggest a better capacity to feed the offspring, and animal instinct has a lot of influence in men's likes and dislikes.

I don't particularly like large breasts, I'd rather they're aesthetical than just large.

The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. Oddly enough the average man doesn't prefer large breasts. They like the booty. That is not to say that men don't like LOOKING at large breasts, I believe they find them mesmerizing.

If you are talking about teenage boys, then yes, they are usually obsessed with breasts. As they age, they tend to grow out of it.

I'm not sure I prefer large over small. Large are simply more obvious to men. Put a small cake or a big one in the window... and we'll comment on the big one.

We're dumb like that. God gave us enough blood to run our brains and our sexual organs - but only one at a time.

Sociological studies show that women are most attractive when they exhibit both youth and sexual maturity. WHY that is is another (unanswerable?) question. Nothing says it louder to man that a woman has reached sexual maturity than what is sticking out up front.

not all do, its just a thing that weve heard ever since puberty. i think brain washing has something to do with it. when women get older, big boobs start to look like a giant cows tounge with a nipple.
