When you say Auto, I'll assume you mean the sensordrive gearbox. You can set this into Auto Mode and the car will do all the gear changing. You can however shift the gears up and down manually. Furthermore, there are shift up/down paddles behind the steering wheel, like in a F1 car. The gearbox is not for everyone however. Make sure you have a test drive and don't just putter about in heavy traffic, try and get up some speed on open road but don't break the law!

Is it new or used? I say this because I think a new one will depreciate so quickly you will loose a lot of money the first year or two. Citroens are some of the cars that depreciate the most in the UK. Maybe you should consider buying a nearly new one and saving yourself a lot of money. Cheers.

That's a great looking car, but be forewarned: Parts and labor will be VERY high. Maintainence has to be kept perfectly. It's not a reliable car.

However:

This car is one of the most original car designs ever made, has good gas mileage, and Citroens have body durability against rust.

If you are a gearhead, buy it. It WILL get stares, that's for sure.Good luck.

basically..don`t get an auto version. The boss`s kid had one from new and it spent more time in the dealers getting fixed than it did on the road. The auto box kept going wrong ( would keep selecting "snow mode" ) The electrics are not to clever either!
